For livestock auction operations and commercial buyer onboarding

One public USDA record comparison, beside the buyer-registration process you already have.

Many auction registration forms already distinguish dealers, order buyers, and packers and ask about a Packers & Stockyards bond. This demonstration shows exactly the public-record layer LivestockVerify can provide—without requesting bank or identity documents.

Illustrative workflow, not a real buyer application. The application fields below are mock fields, not a record from any auction company. The USDA lookup uses a real, source-dated example from our current supported snapshot when source health is valid. This page is not affiliated with Western Livestock, LMA, or USDA.
Step 1 · Illustrative existing registration fields

What the applicant's form might contain

Example business nameTyson Fresh Meats
Example stateArkansas (AR)
Illustrative buyer categoryPacker
Applicant's own bond declarationNot supplied in this demonstration

Only public business name and state are used for this example lookup. No real buyer submission, financial information, or consent record was collected.

Step 2 · Actual public USDA record evidence

What a staff member could review

Supported USDA lookup: MATCH
Matched legal nameTyson Fresh Meats
Matched locationSpringdale, AR
Record classbonded packer
Published bond-record amount$164,305,000
Supported suspension checkNo resolved current suspension match in supported snapshot; not full clearance
USDA bonded-list source date2026-09-22
Software snapshot2026-10-17.auto

A published listed amount is not proof the bond is effective today. The list's own USDA date, not today's software refresh date, controls how current the listed bond evidence is.

Step 3 remains with the auction: Verify the applicant's actual legal identity, resolve missing or ambiguous records, confirm current bond or registration directly with the appropriate authority when necessary, and perform the existing bank/credit/payment checks. LivestockVerify does not approve, deny, or rate bidders. Ordinary farmers buying for their own stocking or feeding may legitimately have no USDA record.

What makes this a practical test, not another software pitch

01 · QualifyStart with covered commercial buyers

Ask whether staff currently check bond records for dealers, order buyers, and packers—not every ordinary bidder.

02 · CompareReview ten public business names

Using only company name and optional state, compare public USDA list research with the independent lookup. Manual confirmation remains available.

03 · MeasureDecide whether automation saves work

Document actual staff time, ambiguity handling, record freshness, and repeat frequency. No unverified savings or payment promises.
